Catherine Hill Bay SLSC commemorates those who shall not be forgotten.
Catherine Hill Bay SLC members Tahlia Gatherer and Hamilton Dobson were representing Catho at the Anzac Day services at Catherine Hill Bay and Doyalson respectively. Laying wreaths and reading poems, these young members represent the generation that will continue to remember those who have made the greatest sacrifice of all on behalf of their country.
Griz and Alex Rainford were key in helping to organise and contribute to the remembrance ceremony and we thank them as always. We would also like to mention Doyalson RSL's continuing generous support of the Surf Club and we hope that we can make their members proud of what we are giving back to the community. Special thanks to Janette Bax for her tireless behind the scenes organising for the day.
Catherine Hill Bay area has contributed with enlistments to many campaigns (you can see some images of the Honour Boards below). It is at this time that we remember all from this region though also specifically the New Zealanders and all others who have been impacted by war and tragedy.
Lest we forget
